$200 87 xj

A dude just came by and asked me to buy his xj, it's stock, needs some wiring work, it ran when they parked it (damn squirrels). I'm ride broke, 5 vehicles in front of the house is about my limit. I may try to get it, however, I'm sure someone needs it more than I do.

what kind of wiring problems does it have?

it's in Clifton. It'll need a new harness, chewed up pretty bad. You give 5k for it, you can tow it home behind my '97, with my '87 as a spare. It's an '87. I'll get some pics of it today.

$200 XJ's are a dime a dozen. I got mine for $200. I know of a 98 that the front end needs replaced for $200. Cam bought one that ran a couple weeks ago for $300. This is the going price for a XJ that needs a little work.

the one that needs a front end, is it in ok shape? I've got an '87 that has mass wiring issues, but a good drive train. The main issue with most "deals" is location. I think I got this one for $100. You're not too far away, if the one needing a front end is near you I may want it. Anyone near here, can hollar and come get it. If you think you could use it, I can probably pick it up and hold it for a week or so. The $200 xj can't be a dime a dozen, that would only be $0.00833 a piece.

If anyone is looking for a cheap XJ ever, give me a call and I can get you hooked up. As far as the 98 I will call the fellow when I get back into town on Friday. I had to go out of town for work for a few days. I will call him on Friday and make sure he still has it.

If I remember correct it is Light Blue and needs a header panal and a grill. It has a 4.0 and an auto, I don't remember anything else about it. I will let everyone know.

Yes the 98 is stock and it is blue, and needs front end work. I called my buddy today and did not hear back from him. I will let everyone know once I hear from him.
