I'm "re-engineering" ! I want to lighten up the whole thing, as well as add a swing out. I'm also going tube fenders in front, and crusher corners in the rear. so I will need to rethink my rocker protection.

me thinks you need to rethink what you are doing, tube fender and crusher corners are not light......althought prolly worth their weight in gold for someone who wants a clean ride but not a weigh to keep weight off.
