93 YJ Buggy

Post by TXPRO 4X4 on Tue Jun 07, 2011 2:06 pm

93 YJ BUGGY
Thinking about selling our rig and starting another project.

1993 YJ
•Clear Texas Title/ Not Street Legal
•5.3 Gen 3 engine from a 2001 Silverado with Kevko oil pan
•TH350 Trans
•NP 203 to Dana 300 Doubler/ Twin Sticked
•1410 and 1350 Series Driveshaft’s
•14 bolt rear, shaved with 4.56/ Detroit/ Disc Brakes
•D60 Front with Spartan Locker, 35 Spline Yukon Outers, Yukon Super Joints
and Drive flanges.
•Complete PSC full hydro system with cooler and magnetic filter
•4 linked rear with coil springs/ gas shocks
•3 linked front with 14” Ballistic Hybrid coil over’s
•42” TSLs with lots of tread left
•17x9 Steel Wheels with Stauns and rock rings
•6 month old T-Max 9500 Competition Winch with Wireless remote and
synthetic line
•Aluminum Fuel Cell with GM Fuel Module built in
•Novak radiator and fan assembly designed for the Gen. 3 Chevy swap
•High line Boat sided

Jeep runs great and wheels extremely well! So I’m not going to write a story on how great everything is. I will however point out the jeep’s short comings which if I kept it I will address or if someone buys it I would recommend.

The T Case combo is not ideal. The gearing is great but the D300 is marginal in this application and I have actually broken one in this rig. I would recommend an Atlas or STAK. Everything works, but it’s always in the back of my mind when I want to use the skinny pedal.

One of the Stauns is blown and should be replaced.

The seats are factory TJ Rubicon’s and while they are comfy, they have no bolster.

My asking price is $16,500 with the winch or $15,500 without the winch.I’d also be interested in a partial trade (2 to 3K) for a stock 4 cylinder YJ in the 91-95 years, preferably with an auto transmission.
