TnT Customs Rear Corner Guards with 2.5" Extended Opening

Post by ColtsTJ on Wed Feb 03, 2010 10:44 pm

Got these corners and decided against them for now because if i put them on id want to do new control arms which in return means a SYE and new drive shaft. . . . so these are brand new will fit TJs and id assume LJs as well. I sanded them and primered them right away so they wouldnt rust. all yours for 300 bones. im sure i have pics so ill look for them

before primer

they wont fit an lj properly, the front edge need to surround the door, and the lj has a longer tub behind the doors.

I am really curious how putting on these corners will lead you to control arms and driveshafts? those are things you should be changing out anyway?

I think what he means is that they require a little bit of a rear stretch so he would need a longer driveshaft and adjustable control arms.

he want the tires to be centered in the wheel wells.....im assuming. These having extended opening the tires would be in the front of the wheel wells with the set up he has now.

just a guess Shocked

i have stock control arms and my rear tires arent centered as is. if i was to put these on it would be eve more off center and would look funny. so yes id need to "stretch" it with some adjustable control arms and if i did that id need to do a SYE because i need to do one already and the "stretch" would make it worse

Sounds like a reason to upgrade... get on it.

So if you sell them will you have enough money to buy some paint to finish that fucking thing?
