Need help with mounting hight lift asap!!!
I am about to go out the the garage and install my high lift mounts. They are the 4rax (or whatever there called) mounts. I am getting a 36" high-lift and I need to know if there is a certian space I need to distance the mounts so they will line up with the holes.

Just wait until you get the jack before you mount them.
A 36" HiLift? Seems kinda short... especially for a Jeep.

I'd wait till you have the jack also, and there should be some play in the mounting allowing for adjustment to get it right. 36" doesn't sound right, but who knows.
Where are you planning on mounting it btw? A bumper, roll bars, hood?

I would get at least a 48", but honestly a 60" is the way to go

I use mine all the time. It has to be the most valuable tool on the trail in my opinion. Get the 60", better to have too much, than not enough.

We used mine 3 times last time out at at Canyons since I was the only one in the group that had one. But other than offroading, ya you'll never need it.

We'll see that 36" HiLift be about a 12-24" too short.

Re: Need help with mounting hight lift asap!!!
When we went out at Stillwater, we used my Hilift about five or six times. I have mine on the back of my cage in the Jeep. I don't have mounts for it, just military duck cloth straps. They hold it to the rear bars just fine. Even when the rig is beening thrown around. You just want to make sure you protect the moving mechanism of the Jack. When you need it, its full of dust and dirt and can cause it to fail.
