My boyfriend and I are coming to Austin to vacation at the end of July. We are looking for a low key offroad type place to ride our jeep. We arent looking for a paid park or anything thats too wild on this trip just something low key. Anyone have any ideas of a good place to go? We want to maybe ride a little get out and picnic or swim...we are bringing the dogs with us so something where they can play a little too (not a dog park). Any idea?

Im rebuilting a dodge dana 60 front axle, and im having trouble with auto stores giving me the wrong parts. the model truck the axle came out of was a d600, wich is a work type truck, and these part stores only keep regular vehicle part listings in there computer. Does anybody know of a website or something were i can find the part number for a set of rotors (and any other part) for this axle?

OK, so I broke my shit awhile back. Thought it was just a hub. Threw a drive hub in and worked off and on for the day. Replaced the hub, but still no traction on the drivers side wheel. Pulled the front diff cover to find metallic gear oil. All the pins and springs broke in my aussie locker. I found about 1 1/2 of the pins and 1/2 of a spring. So this has caused some crazy shit to happen in my diff. Not sure how bad the bearings are yet, since I have not pulled the ring gear out yet. ...

So I had a Tom Woods driveshaft, double cardan style. I twisted it on rocks after about 15 months, my fault. Driveshaft still worked fine, except for a nasty imbalance. Bought another one last December. Had it 6-7 months (June) and the double cardan went out. The teflon ball got destroyed, caused by a faulty u-joint seizing up in one of the end caps. Contacted Tom, after much bitching on my part, they sent me a new one (at my cost of $65). Instaled it and all was well with the world. Now ...
